My SmikKet the Jackal Mask painted (2) by YaoiFangirl1234 My SmikKet the Jackal Mask painted (2) by YaoiFangirl1234
Once again, this is dry brushed. Any questions on how to drybrush or make a resin mask, feel free to ask via comment or note, I don't bite.

Looks awesome! I'd love more info on dry brushing. :) So do you just take acrylic paint, water it down and paint the fur? Doesn't it clump and not feel soft anymore, or does it just color the fur if you water it down enough? Don't you have to worry about getting the backing of the fur wet?

That's basically it. Comb the fur a lot! When it's drying that's the time to pay extra attention to it. Use a fine toothed comb, plastic or metal. Be sure to get deep into the roots and make sure its watered down. A lot of non-watered down paint is what makes it hard. Since the paint is plastic and the fur is plastic, it chemically binds so when you wash it, it won't come off. Don't worry if the backing gets wet.

Did you paint this without an airbrush? I'm working on a mask at the moment and can't afford an air brush, so any tips on painting it without one would be appreciated!

Dry brushing is the way to go. I do not have an airbrush either so i just bought a bunch of paint brushing. This video describes how to do it [link] . Just make sure you water it down and comb it or else it will get clumpy.
